David-Muir

David Muir (born August 25, 1949) is an American journalist, anchor and reporter. He is most well-known for his show World News Tonight. The program, which is characterized by its dramatic clips of celebrity gossip on video and his animated gestures has grown to become the most watched news show in America. Made In America has also been selected for the Emmy Awards. In the years before the appointment of the anchor for ABC World News Tonight Sawyer was Sawyer's main replacement. He's reported on a variety of primetime specials for ABC News some recent ones being Breaking Point: Heroin in America as well as Flashpoint Refugees in America. He has reported on news across the world, including Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti. He received numerous Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards as well as honors given by the Associated Press.
