Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou in Beaumont Puy De Domme in France was born the 9th August, 1976. Audrey is the elder child out of 4. Her parents encouraged her parents, dentist, and a teacher and both of them were teachers. They encouraged her to pursue her passion for the theatre. This contrasted with her previous desire to pursue a career as a primateologist since she loved monkeys. Early success and a rapid rise in fame made her a promising young actor. In 1998 after her studies, she was a participant in an French television show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers which was sponsored by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors before beginning her acting career in earnest. Tautou was a student at the Institut Catholique de Paris in Paris when she was a kid and was a student there from the age of a child she has since renounced her Catholic childhood. Now, she declares herself to be non-Catholic. Her acting and modelling careers were intertwined. Tautou was the model of L'Oreal Mont Blanc Chanel, and is often referred to as the Chanel Muse. Also, she has an intense photographic passion and has recently presented an exhibit of her work during the Arles Festival under the title Superficial. She focuses her photography on celebrities, fame and the press that scrutinised her following her emergence on the scene as Amelie. There are also numerous photographs of her self. Audrey Tautou became a star and was recognized internationally for her first role in Amelie Poulain from Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie. Amelie is a box office hit internationally and recognized at many awards events around the globe. The film is still the top-grossing French language film to be released in the US. Following the film, she appeared in numerous films ranging from British dramas and Jean Pierre Jeunet's film Un long Sunday de Faancailles. She then moved to Hollywood and starred with Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
