Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She co-owns Crossfit Reykjavik where she also coaches and trains. Annie is the only woman to has won CrossFit Games in two consecutive year. Annie was second at the 2010, and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is an athlete in weightlifting CrossFit as well as a popular media personality. She won CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 twice, becoming the first female winner. The other accomplishments she has achieved include securing Dubai Fitness Championships in 2017 and 2013. Annie was born and raised in Reykjavik, Iceland together with her parents and siblings. As a child she was an avid lover of exercise and sports. She took part in a variety of school events and earned several medals. In 2009, she participated in the CrossFit games at California where she was able to perform good in her first games. Annie Thorisdottir has 31 years of age (as in 2021). She is 5'7 tall and weighs approximately 70 kilograms. Annie started her CrossFit adventure in California in 2009. Annie was able to do very well in the initial matches. She finished amongst in the top 10 among over 70. But she did not achieve any championships and finished the tournament with 11th rank. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In the same year, under Jami's coaching she won the gold medal at the CrossFit Games. After a year of CrossFit Games, Annie won her first CrossFit Games. Her dominant accomplishment earned her the title. In 2012, Annie also won in the CrossFit Games because of her outstanding performance. In addition, she became the first woman who has won twice in CrossFit Games consecutively. In addition, she was awarded a medal of silver in 2014 as well as an award of bronze at the CrossFit Games in 2021. Annie is presently a coach as well as a trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik, which she founded. Annie is an athlete on the rise who has been the face of many brands such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs and Nuun Hydration, Renaissance Periodization and Sidekick Yerbae.
